Çağdaş mücevher sanatı nasıl değerlendirir? Bu tür soruların altında zor ve dokunulmaz bir çelişki yatıyor ve bu konuları araştırmayı ve kesfetmeye doğru adım attanlar arasında Atelier Ted Noten var. ATN’nin takım arkadaşları yenillikler düşlüyor, düşüncelerin sınırlarını zorlayan, deneysel ve yaratıcı projelere imza atıyorlar. Düşünceleri geliştirmek ve paylaşmak adına, ATN bu gelecek dönemin ilk yaz okul programını açıkladı.

Amsterdam’da yer alan atölyede değişik malzeme ve teknikler üzerine çalışılarak, ATN’nin eşsiz metodoloji ve felsefesi aynen uygulanıyor. Atölye süresince, ‘wagon on wheels’ Camping Zeeburg tarafından düzenlenen rahat ve konforlu vagonlarda konaklama olanağını sunuluyor ve ücrete dahil olmak üzere yemekler de karşılanıyor. What is the value of contemporary jewellery? Such a question underlines a seemingly difficult and intangible problem but someone proposes to dive deep and discover it. The Atelier Ted Noten includes a group of ‘tresspassers’ who enter unknown territories, adopt new ideas and stretch their uninhibited minds in order to experiement, play, challenge and provoke the thought process. The ATN has just announced its first Summer School which is now open for registration!
This is an unlikely opportunity to spend 7 full days with the ATN team in an experimental workshop using different materials and techniques to push subscribed boundaries. The unique methodologies and philiosopies of the ATN will be reflected throughout the workshop in a creative, spacious and central atelier in Amsterdam. Accomodation (and meals!) will be included in the package price and arranged by the ‘wagon on wheels’ Camping Zeeburg in one of their comfortable wagonettes. For those interested in creating, critiqueing or just smelling jewellery, this is not only a great way to spend a week in Amsterdam but also an opportunity to expand one’s knowledge or craftsmanship which will surely foster an intimate exchange between like-minded individuals.
