SODA’da devam eden “Un-plugged” adlı sergisi ise 8 Nisan’a kadar uzatıldı. Görmek için son fırsat!
Henrik Isaksson Garnell, whose work is currently being displayed at SODA, will be holding a new exhibition at the Swedish Photography Gallery in Berlin from April 2 to May 21, 2011. His upcoming show called Apsis, will display an investigation that looks deep into where the centre of a celestial body is located.
“An apsis is the point of greatest or least distance of a body from one of the foci of its elliptical orbit. In modern celestial mechanics this focus is also the centre of attraction, which is usually the centre of mass in a system. Historically, in geocentric systems, apsides (plural) were measured from the centre of the Earth.” This definition can give the visitor an idea of what to expect in Garnell’s next exhibiton; an experimental adventure with a taste of familiarity and an ethereal notion.
